After all, we are so used to seeing older men playing action heroes with all the verve and pep of younger men. The original “Speed,” which was directed by Jan de Bont, came out in 1994 and grossed about $350 million worldwide. Let’s pretend “Speed 2: Cruise Control” (1997) never happened — the movie was a flop, and Reeves wasn’t even in it. Older female actors in action roles often feel disposable and replaceable. On Saturday, he is scheduled to compete for the second time in the agility competition at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, which will be held in Flushing, Queens. CNN spoke to three Israeli whistleblowers who worked at the Sde Teiman desert camp, which holds Palestinians detained during Israel’s invasion of Gaza. Reports of abuse at Sde Teiman have already surfaced in Israeli and Arab media after an outcry from Israeli and Palestinian rights groups over conditions there. Knezevich’s attorney, Kenneth Padowitz, told CNN in February that his client is innocent and “has never been to Spain.” Padowitz declined to comment Wednesday after Knezevich’s arrest. MAGA Republicans say that America is in crisis: The economy is collapsing while the nation is being overrun by hordes of violent immigrants. But if that’s what you believe, you should be laser-focused on fighting the clear and present danger, right? In April, Republicans planned to vote on a series of more specific bills: the Liberty in Laundry Act, the Refrigerator Freedom Act and more. Should the government be trying to limit home energy consumption? If so, should it do so with efficiency mandates for appliances, or in some other way?

In short, Trump’s New York congestion comment was classic dead cat. In the same Truth Social message, the former president mused about the impact of congestion pricing elsewhere in the world. After all, congestion pricing has been introduced in a number of cities, from Singapore to Stockholm, over the past 25-odd years. I live about four miles from the edge of the congestion zone, and it’s never once been a problem to circumvent. By most metrics, London’s congestion pricing experiment has been a resounding success.
